#BACARDITRIANGLE

ONE OF THE MOST EPIC EVENTS ON THE PLANET IS ABOUT TO TAKE OFF

OCT 30th - NOV 2nd

This Halloween, BACARDÍ® rum flew 1,862 guests into a legendary party in the Bermuda Triangle.

Three charter jets from London, NY & LA flew the world’s hottest artists and invited guests to a private island in the Caribbean Sea, to party in one of the most mysterious places on earth. Headlined by Calvin Harris, Kendrick Lamar and Ellie Goulding, the three-night music spectacular got the world’s biggest artists together for a gig of epic proportions. And I was a part of this!

It all started at 4am, October the 30th. I needed to hop on the bus & coach to go to Gatwick airport. After checking in, a team of Bacardi peeps popped up & we spend an hour in the Bacardi Lounge, where Bacardi people served some breakfast and drinks. It all sounded surreal, when I got the mail saying I'm going to fly to Puerto Rico for Bacardi Triangle.. Couldn't believe it, till I got my flight ticket.
The flight was kinda crazy, as non other than Ellie Goulding sat in first class. We had a couple of hours for watching a movie or taking a nap, till the crew started to serve Bacardi drinks like Cuba Libre! We played Bingo, danced around and just had fun.
9 hours passed by like 90 minutes
After checking in & unpacking our bags, we checked out the pool party at our Waldorf Astoria El Conquistador resort, we stayed in.
We ended up going to bed around 1am & woke up at 6am - which was 10am London time.
As it was dark outside while we check our room, the next morning was mind blowing! The view was just epic!

You can even see the private Island the concert was at
Friday was one of the best days in Puerto Rico as we had brunch, went to the pool and had a little nap around midday. Later on that day we went kajaking at a bioluminescent sea at Bio Bay in Fajardo. As I couldn't take my phone, here is a picture of google. This was probably the most amazing thing I've seen in years!

We went back to the hotel after kajaking, changed our clothes and went to the Halloween pool party in a waterpark close by.

CEMETERY & SHOPPING DAY

Sounds funny huh?

Well it's kinda cool to have a cemetery like 5 minutes from the place I am going to call "home" for the next year.
It looks really scary - even in daytime. Loads of peeps are going with their dogs for a walk to this kinda cemetery parkish area. And as my HostFamily got 2 lovely dogs, we (the boys, J (their current AuPair) & myself) went there. I can tell you, it's an amazing place & this old "castle" on the picture reminds me of Tomorrowland.

I'd like to shoot a movie in here or o a photoshooooot!

After walking the dogs, playing around & having a little picknick in the cemetery, I've went to PRIMARK (Oxford Street) to get some typical stuff, which I couldn't fit in my suitcase.
#1 rule: Do not take many socks, if there is a Primark around. Just go there & buy 5 or 7 pairs of socks for 2 pounds :)
#2 rule: Do not take loads of money with you while going into Primark, as you would like to buy more than you actually need.
#3 rule: BE BATMAN!

FIRST THINGS FIRST... I'M IN LONDON

As the headline says, I have finally moved to London.

It was Wednesday (13/08/2014) when my dad dropped me off at the airport. I was crying like SH*T.
After waiting in the queue I tried to give in my luggage... I got one big suitcase & a smaller one. Both were overweighted! All in all 6 kilos! In the end I didn't need to pay something extra - I think it was because of the fact that I was still crying haha!
After landing & taking the bus to central London, my HostDad picked me up & I almost fell asleep. I mean it was nearly 2am (London time).

Thursday started around 11am. I've prepared the boys breakfast - as they have holidays. After cleaning up the table we went to a local sportshall to play some rounds of badminton & swim some tracks in the local pool.

Exhausting & funny first day in London :)

LAST DAYS IN GERMANY

As this is my very last day in Germany, I am sad & happy at the same time.
I've spend my last week with friends & family, laughed loads & had a lot of fun.

Like this lovely pictures of a delicious dinner at Benjamin's American Diner with my dad & two of his friends. Both of us used to go here like once in 3 months, therefore we needed to go there before I leave. And yeah, I couldn't handle all of this burger or fries :D

As my mom is on vacation with her Buell in Austria, she couldn't be a part of this. Anyway, she sent me some nice & warm pictures from her daily trip. This was the picture which I liked most.

While it was sunny & lovely at my moms, it started to rain at ours. I mean who doesn't like rain...?
Nobody? Well, taking all I would do by then is taking pictures from the inside :P

Anyway, this is one of the last breakfast I had with my dad & I got kind of used to it this last year.

BUT as I have like 20 hours left in Germany, I will need to pack my luggage... Not that easy as it sounds like!
I would love to take XY pairs of shoes, dresses, tops (etc.) with me, but there is not enough space left in my suitcase :/ I WISH I'D BE HARRY POTTER (well... a female version then :D)

TRACK OF THE DAY - 06/08/2014

"Happy Little Pill" by Troye Sivan

Credits to UMI/EMI
TRXYE - better known as Troye Sivan is a 19 years old australian guy who is on his way to be an international superstar.

He started to post music videos on YouTube back in 2007 & got nearly 2.5 million followers & more than 105.5 million views on his channel.
Back in 2013 he wrote, produced & published his first ever song called "The Fault In Our Stars" which was sold more than 100.000 copies worldwide. The revenue went to an australian hospital for children in Perth.

His first ever EP will come out august the 15th & will be called "TRXYE". The EP will include 5 tracks - including a overworked version of "The Fault In Our Stars" & will be out worldwide. Troye Sivan loves Lana Del Rey, Lorde & Frank Ocean - therefore his sound will be kind of a mix of all three & a touch of himself.

My "Track Of The Day" is his first single "Happy Little Pill", which went staight to number #1 in 21 countries at iTunes. His EP "TRXYE" has already topped that as it has a huge pre-order number in more than 30 countries.
"Happy Little Pill" got an emotional sound with melancholic lyrics & a down-tempo electro beat which will let you smile while listening HERE. (click there haha) And check the official music video HERE.

All in all he is a multitalented & lovely guy. If you haven't heard about Troye Sivan yet, go ahead & check his social media pages as Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.

TOMORROWLAND

WHAT CAN I SAY?!?

As you might now, I've been to the magical festival called TOMORROWLAND.
Those 5 days were some adventure I will never ever forget in my entire life!

As we got our bracelets in such cool boxes, we couldn't wait till the 10th anniversary of TOMORROWLAND in Boom, Belgium.

I'm on the left & Nathalie is on the right

We got our bracelets for friday & sunday. The one from friday is just brown & suits to like everything & I am still wearing it :P

Before I went to Belgium, I read loads of blogs about TOMORROWLAND & how much money I should take with etc. Most of those visitors said something like: "Take at least 300€ for food & drinks". Well both of us - Nathalie & I - took like 150€ each with us. Due the fact that we slept in a hostel near by, we didn't need to by food & drinks all weekend from those bars & shops at the venue.
While being there, we used such coins as in the picture below. And in fact we didn't spend more than 40€ each those 2 days :D

10 coins are 20€

With those coins you can buy whatever you'd like to eat or dink. This is what I used to eat that friday & sunday.

After taking a big bag on friday, I chose a smaller one, which wasn't that heavy for sunday. This was what I actually took with me to the venue of TOMORROWLAND. And I can tell, you will be dancing like 7 hours per one day. Smaller bags are better to carry :)

Last but not least, one of my favourite moments of TOMORROWLAND was meeting Klingande. You may know him from the track "Jubel" (2013). Such a nice guy!

Last but not least, some of my favourite pictures of TOMORROWLAND.

TOMORROWLAND DAY 1

"YESTERDAY IS HISTORY, TODAY IS A GIFT & TOMORROW IS MYSTERY."

Tomorrowland Day 1:

After driving 420 km to Antwerp, checking in & waking up the next day (9.30am), we went down for breakfast. It wasn't the way we used to have it, but still okay.

It is hard to choose what to take to a festival, which takes like 13 hours each day, but I chose my action camera for good videos, my sunglasses, my lipgloss (EOS) & of course my TOMORROWLAND bracelet :)

I haven't been to a festival like TOMORROWLAND by now, but I don't regret buying those expensive tickets (80€ one day, plus 30€ for processing!)
Yesterday was such an amazing day!

We have seen Avicii, Keys N Krates - didn't know them at all! - Diplo, Martin Garrix, Armin Van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike :)

The Tomorrowland area is one of those fairytale places & you would think you're in Disneyland or some place like that. It looks magical & everybody is happy.
I even took my german flag & if you are going, take YOUR FLAG!
That's actually the best thing to take to Tomorrowland, showing where you're from & having fun with people from all around the world.

I can't wait to go this Sunday - whoop whoop, Sunday is Funday :D

GETTING READY FOR TOMORROWLAND 2014

I am freaking excited for the next 4 days! Like who couldn't?
This is going to be wicked! And as the headline tells you, I got tickets for the most famous festival in the world...

Back in february we were lucky to get daily tickets for the second weekend of this years TOMORROWLAND in Boom, Belgium. We've waited in line for about 23 minutes & my friend Nathalie came through. Yeah, we totally freaked out. BUT there was something not going the way we wanted it to be. FULL MADNESS PACKAGES were sold out.

Anyway, we bought those daily tickets & last week our dreams came true. Our tickets arrived. We paid 60€ for shipping & loads for the tickets themself. After opening the box, we were flashed... Like have you ever seen those tickets? Well, I haven't. But here we go.

As you can see you'll get a box & a key. Then you need to "UNLOCK YOU HAPPINESS". Good decision Tomorrowland!

After unlocking your happiness, you'll get your bracelets & a "welcome card".
It's looking like a fairy tale & I bet it's going to be epic!

It's wednesday night (11.21pm) & I haven't packed yet...
I will pick up Nathalie at hers around 10am tomorrow. We're going to take my car from Mannheim to Antwerp & check in in our hotel, which is close by Antwerp Centraal. Then going around & see where to find a good dinner & relax a bit. Take a shower, unpack our luggage & find the perfect outfit for the first day of TOMORROWLAND 2014.

Stay tuned, because it's going to be TOMORROWLAZING - did I just made that up? Yeah, I did :D

DER ERSTE SCHRITT IST BEWÄLTIGT, 99 TO GO

AU PAIR - FIRST STEPS

Hellooooo!

Davon habe ich also niemanden wirklich ernstgenommen.

Also noch besser.

Bexhill-On-Sea Teamer

"We really want you to be part of our family Liv"

x Liv
